Recovering From Wildfires, Rebuilding Together

The LA Fires of January 2025 have already changed our lives forever. Pacific Community Fund is joining business and community leaders from throughout Los Angeles to provide relief for our neighbors who have lost their home, business or livelihood. 

LA Fire Relief Fund

Pacific Community Fund is a longstanding community lending institution. As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), we are dedicated to being a part of the solution as businesses and community leaders from throughout Los Angeles come together to rebuild in the wake of the recent fires. To this end, Pacific Community Fund is launching the LA Fire Relief Fund to provide an easy to access, zero-interest loan with three groups in mind:
  • Residents who have been displaced due to the wildfires in Los Angeles County that began on January 7, 2025.
  • Small Businesses that were based in the areas affected by the LA Fires
  • Essential Workers who have lost their source of income due to the LA Fires
 
Funding Details: Program Name: LA Fire Relief Fund
Funding Amount: Up to $1,500 for qualified applicants
 

Eligibility:

Must be residents who can provide proof of residence in the affected areas; owners of small businesses (annual revenue of $1million or less) in the affected areas; and, essential workers (i.e., homecare workers, landscapers, housekeepers, nannies) who have lost their primary source or the majority of income due to the LA Fires. Applicants must provide documentation of wildfire-related wage loss or damage.
Application Deadline: Qualified applicant may apply beginning on January 10, 2025. Funding will remain available through February 10, 2025 or until funds last.

Terms:

In addition to the above mentioned eligibility criteria, qualified candidates must also have an annual household income that qualify as Low-to-Moderate-Income (LMI) and a current credit score of 640 or greater.
  • LA Fire Relief Fund loans are zero-interest with zero-fees.
  • The initial loan payment is due ninety (90) days from the origination of the loan.
  • The serving of the loan will be in twelve (12) monthly installments.
  • Prepare Supporting Documents
  • Photo ID or business license
  • Proof of wildfire damage (photos, insurance claims, etc.)
  • Financial statements (if applicable)
