The National Asian American Coalition (NAAC) was founded in 2005 and started with the mission of supporting to improve low-to-moderate income Asian-American communities by offering Housing and Urban Development approved counseling services that serve to eliminate tenant discrimination, promote civil rights and economic opportunity and expand economic opportunity for the underserved supporting by offering pathways to financial growth and capacity.
Today NAAC has grown its small business lending portfolio, HUD-approved counseling manpower and community advocation to serve people from all communities who are hardly reached, hard-to-reach and unreached by regulated financial institutions by utilizing cutting edge digital technologies winning the “Market Readiness” category of the Federal Deposit and Insurance Corporation’s (FDIC) 2021 Tech Sprint for “Breaking Down Barriers: Reaching the Last Mile of the Unbanked” offering our proprietary digital lending solutions to identify better resources and tools to help banks bring unbanked consumers into the banking system and to sustain those banking relationships.
